SAVANNAH – Mildred Marlyn Harvey Sasser, 65, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family.
The native and lifelong resident of Savannah was a graduate of Savannah High School and was the Office Manager for Dr. Ronald Smiley. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and Faith in Practice. She was a great mom and a devoted and loving grandmother.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Chris Elmgren of Savannah; her mother, Mildred Harvey, of Savannah; two brothers, Randall Harvey Debra of Savannah and Gary Harvey of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren, Christopher, Natalie, and Lindsey Elmgren; her former husband and friend, Stephen Sasser; and her niece Candice Harvey Cox Chris. She was preceded in death by her father, Marion Harvey.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 12, 2012, at Messiah Lutheran Church, One West Ridge Road, Savannah, GA 31411.

I lived across the street from Marlyn when she was a little girl and remember her dancing on the porch and riding her tricycle. I loved that little girl and just can't believe that she is gone.
